In-House Metal Spinning

At Shelburne Lighting and Metal Crafts, we spin copper and brass components right in our own workshop. From decorative finials to lantern tops and reflectors, this traditional metalworking process shapes flat metal over a rotating form to create the finished part.

We design and make our own spinning forms, giving us the flexibility to develop new shapes and produce small quantities in-house. Keeping this work under our own roof gives us control over the details that make our lighting distinctive.

Watch the video above for a look at the process in our shop.

Looking for a custom copper or brass component? We also welcome inquiries about individual spun parts and small production runs. Contact us to discuss your design, dimensions, and quantity.
