Return Policy

Returns and Refunds

Please contact Shelburne Lighting within 14 days of delivery to request return authorization before returning an item.

Returned items must be unused, uninstalled, unaltered, and in their original, resalable condition, with the original packaging and all components included. Installed fixtures or fixtures with cut wires are not eligible for return.

Authorized returns may be mailed to us or brought to our shop by prior arrangement.

Original shipping charges are nonrefundable, and customers are responsible for return shipping costs. Please package mailed returns securely and use an insured, trackable shipping service.

We process approved refunds to the original payment method within 7 days after receiving and inspecting the returned item. Your bank or payment provider may take additional time to post the refund.

We do not offer direct exchanges. If you would like a different product, please request a return for the eligible item and place a new order.

Custom and Personalized Orders

Custom and personalized products—including special dimensions, personalized signs, and designs modified to customer specifications—cannot be canceled, returned, or refunded once production begins, except for damage, defects, or errors on our part.

Standard catalog products remain eligible for our regular return policy, even when built after an order is placed.

Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

Please inspect your order upon delivery and contact us promptly if anything arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect. Keep the original packaging and provide photos of the item and packaging so we can arrange an appropriate repair, replacement, or refund.

If individual components, such as glass or chimneys, arrive damaged, please contact us so we can arrange replacements at no charge.

Shelburne Lighting covers necessary replacement shipping and authorized return shipping for damaged, defective, or incorrect items.
